New Ladder Aiders!
A new ladder style aider is now available. We decided to go with a 3/4" nylon webbing on these ladders to avoid the weight issue that is the downfall of other manufacturers "ladder style" aiders. Each ladder only weighs 9.5 ounces and is 76" in overall length. Features include a burly double thickness bottom step, a sub 2Step and a sub TopStep for maximum reach. A full strength grab loop completes the set up. Contrasting colors on the steps. Each pair is the same color scheme. Order two pairs and we will make sure you have two distinct color patterns. If you already own a set of Fish Smart Aiders, the steps on our new Ladder Aiders will match up with each step of the Smart Aiders.
We sell the Ladder Aiders as a pair, for $70.00 a set. If you just can't live without 1" wide webbing steps, add $7.00 per pair and we will make them up using 1" webbing instead of the 3/4" webbing for the body and the steps. Available on our Big Wall Page in the catalog.

New Top-O-Let!
After clipping too many bolts this last year, I decided to shorten the standard Fish-O-Let and make it more robust. The new Top-O-Let is made from 1" tubular nylon (versus 5/8" on the Fish-O-Let) and is the perfect length for clipping the anchors on the standard sport route. There is room for adjustment, but you don't look like a total n00b carrying a 30ft hank of webbing just to clip two bolts. A simple overhand knot is easy to release after loading and the four total strands of 1" webbing between the bolts and the lowering point give a wide safety margin from abrasion or cutting. Intro price is $9.00 each. Available on our Runners and Gearslings Page in the catalog.
(biners not included)

CHUM BUCKET Big Wall Rope Bag
This is a burly version of the tried and true Rope Bucket idea for keeping your rope organized at a anchor. Our Chum Bucket has improved on the common designs currently available. We have made the Chum Bucket large enough for todays modern long ropes, and it still has room to spare. The "stiffy" rim has no cable to kink, the clip in loops are extra long and have fast adjusters, the zipper is a burly #10 YKK with an super stout abrasion guard to hide the zipper pull when in use. We added two "real" haul loops so you can yard on the bag with no worries about losing your rope in a gear failure mishap. Additional features include a nice wide gusset for easy rope management, a "hot clip" loop on the gusset so you can always find the sharp end, and the easiest Over-the-Shoulder system ever. The bottom of the bag has an additional clip in loop on the inside for when you need to toss the bag on some hasty rappel.
This is also a great bag for local crag use and storing your rope. You can clip the adjusters right onto your harness as a belayer and feed rope right to the leader. Large enough to hold a set of draws, your shoes, harness and the lead line. Besides the one shoulder carry method, the Chum Bucket can be worn like a pack for longer approaches.

SNAKE CHARMER Big Wall Rope Bag
For when it really counts, and your ropes need to feed properly, this is the ultimate unit. Big Wall soloists will rejoice with the ease of packing the rope and the uniform and tangleless deployment. Anyone stuck in a stiff upward hurricane on El Cap using this piece of equipment will be making sandwiches instead of doing a bad version of the Indian Rope Trick. Features include two grommets in the bottom to drain away water in storms. The last thing you need is a 96lbs of water in your rope bag when you rap back into the station. A "Ballast" strap on the bottom that you can clip some weight onto to keep the bag from flapping around in the wind when almost all the rope is deployed. Four internal "Hot Clips", two up high and two down inside on the bottom panel to tie your rope to and keep the ends separate and easy to locate. A stiff 2" webbing reinforced rim that goes all the way around the bag. A super burly divider to keep the ropes separated. A no frills yet fully functioning closure and bomber hauling set up that only needs a single biner to make it all happen. The clip in loops are designed to work with a single clip in point, a wide spread double clip in, or even three clips at the anchor. This bag is designed for "on the wall" use. It is not a casual "carry your rope around bag". It thrives up on a wall, not at the base of the local hummock. There are no shoulder straps, padded gizmos, or fluff apparatus to interfere with its sole function: Big Wall Rope Management. The back panel is made from a burly 600x300 fabric that wraps around the full bottom and rear corners to fight abrasion. The main bags are made from 420D Pack Cloth which is no slouch by itself. All the loops and add-ons sport numerous bartacks and are bomber to overkill for the application. This is a "no worries" bag.

FISH Russian Aiders
Based on the proven Trango design, but with improvements. Trango has stopped making these, and they asked us if we wanted to continue production.... Yes we do!!!! Prototypes are out and about right now, but the project has stalled due to an availability problem with the hook parts. BUT, we do have the Aid Trees available now. They are $25.00 per Tree and most guys use two.... here is a pic for your perusal.
